Seed Wart Removal

Seed wart removal is a process that involves physically taking out the seed wart growth by different suitable means. Seed warts can be very difficult to curtail not because it is a complicated infection, but rather because of its persistence.

Amongst its genre of growths, it is the most common and the most persistent, these facts make it a very sensitive growth to deal with. It must be said that preventing any form of contact with the wart is always the best cure and this is only achieved through proper hygiene. How to remove seed warts can be complicated or simple depending on the approach taken.

Most warts will probably disappear over a certain period of time ranging from six months to two years depending on its severity.

There are many methods of combating this tiny enemy and some of them are highly tested and trusted worldwide while the major portion of these methods are only based on individual opinions.

Many patients have chosen the less popular ways of dealing with this menace and some of these methods have actually produced variably quick results.

Obviously, one will wonder how credible these methods are.

Unorthodox Methods of Removing Seed Warts

Seed Wart Removal Using Duct Tape

Removal by duct tape is arguably one of the most common local methods of seed wart removal, this process involves strapping a duct tape over the affected area for a certain period of time after which the duct tape is removed. To effectively carry out this process the wart affected area must first be bathed with hot water and dried before strapping heavily with the duct tape.

This duct tape method is more effective when used for seed warts infections on the fingers due to ease of tapping and the period of tapping is about seven days. After this period, the tape is removed and the surface of the wart is scratched with a pumice stone.

The process is repeated again for about two months before results are achieved and from history it is said to be a very effective system and it has the advantage of being very cost effective as all having the materials needed to be readily available.

Summarily the system works on the principle of isolating the wart from any supply of moist or oxygen so as kill its overall strength.

Seed Wart Removal Using Vinegar

One question popping in your mind right now could be what if the wart appears in more sensitive places?

To answer this question, consider another method called the vinegar removal method. Although less used than the duct tape it is also a very effective method. The skin around the affected area is first protected by the application of Vaseline before soaking cotton wool in cider vinegar and placing it on the wart.

The cotton wool is held in place with and the process is done at night. In the morning the plaster is removed and wart allowed to be free before process is repeated at night for as long as it takes the wart to disappear.

It must be stated that this process can be very smelly and a bit slower than the duct tape, but eventually it is effective in removing seed warts.

Seed Wart Removal Using Garlic And Onions

Seed warts can also be removed by using garlic and onions. This basically involves a constant chewing of garlics and onion so as to counter the effect of the virus causing the seed wart. The only reversal of this method is the discomfort experienced during and after consumption of garlic and onions.

Seed Wart Removal Using Aloe Vera

The use of aloe Vera in removing seed wart is also a highly practiced procedure. Aloe vera is known for its extensive healing power and has long been associated with many skin infections so the use of aloe vera for removal is not a special scenario. The semi liquid of the special plant is applied directly to the infected spots and left to dry up.

The Process is repeated until the growth disappears.

Seed Wart Removal Using Nail Polish

Another popular removal process is removal via the use of nail polish. This process is very synonymous to the duct tape method in the fact that it simply involves covering up the affected spot with nail polish repeatedly until eventually the seed wart dies away.

Other unorthodox methods exist including use of very hot water, natural oil. Although many might argue for or against any of these aforementioned methods, but the basic truth is, there is no official way of accrediting any of them so it is left to individual choice.

Removing Seed Warts Using Medically Accredited Methods

The medically accredited methods of removing seed wart are not as numerous as their untested counterparts, but they are definitely as effective if not more effective. Removal by the use of acyclic acid is the most common of these methods.

This involves using products that are made from acyclic acid such as gels, plasters to attack the particular spot. It is always effective, but requires a long time usage.

Another very effective method is the use of injection, many people who visit hospitals with seed wart
cases probably will find this particular method a common one too. It is as simple as it sounds, that is getting injected with a Cantharidin or any similar drug so as to detach the wart from the skin.

Cryotherapy Method

Cryotherapy is also adopted in the removal of stubborn seed warts. The whole process of Cryotherapy simply involves freezing the particular spot which the wart is growing and removing with a scalpel. The freezing is done with the aid of nitrogen and this process has been modernized in such a way that you can buy a freezing kit in pharmacy and do it at home.

Laser Surgery Method

Laser surgery method is also another well-known medical practice. This simply takes after the use of laser to burn out the warts. Complete surgery is used very rarely to take out seed wart, but this method is not so popular as it is only applicable if all other methods have failed, which is almost impossible.

No matter the seed wart removal method chosen, one must bear in mind that they are stubborn and tend to re-occur so patience needs to be practiced to the last drop.
